On our homepage, we highlighted a table detailing incoming and outgoing loads, accompanied by cards presenting vital parameters. These components provided our customers with the capability to make critical decisions based on essential information.

Exploration Sessions for Innovative Concepts
Leading the initiation of our new design concept, I facilitated workshops with the Sales, Product, and Development teams. The primary goal was to rapidly iterate ideas, assess their practicality for implementation, and pinpoint concepts that could garner the desired traction.

Among the various ideas considered, the initial concept that captured our sales team's attention was a Global Map. This innovative feature showcases all loads on a map, enabling customers to gain a comprehensive view of their entire load history over a specific period.
Refinements and Conceptual Developments
Bringing in Assets & Locations
The initial crucial enhancement involved providing customers with a visual representation of their warehouses, a result of our implementation efforts. Leveraging our tracking tools, we enabled customers to identify the mode of transportation (Rail, Road, or Air) for incoming loads.

Furthermore, we implemented a feature to display the nearest hubs from which these loads would be transported. This real-time visibility empowered customers to interactively track the location of their loads, offering a seamless experience by allowing them to click on each icon for more details.
Dark Mode & Map Configuration
The subsequent significant enhancements to the map included introducing a dark mode and map configurations. These configurations provided customers with the flexibility to toggle specific information on or off, allowing them to focus on selected loads and modes of transportation.

Additionally, a new integration with a third-party tool was implemented to provide customers with real-time weather updates. This feature proved invaluable in predicting potential delays due to weather conditions. The positive response from our customers indicated their appreciation for this approach, which seamlessly integrated with our suite of predictive tracking tools, differentiating us from competitors who had not ventured into this territory.
Grouping of Loads & New Status
The subsequent conceptual improvement involved grouping loads together based on their status and incorporating these statuses into each mode of transportation.
Detailed View of Assets & Facilities
By selecting each mode of transportation, customers can monitor their shipments, gaining access to a detailed view of the load seamlessly integrated with logistics providers or our proprietary IoT devices.
This feature empowers customers to track the status and obtain other essential information about their shipments.
A similar approach was applied to customers' warehouses, where selecting one would isolate and display relevant data. Customers have the flexibility to view data in a table format, apply necessary filters, and configure the table as per their requirements.
Configurating of New Dashboard Tiles
The final significant enhancement involved introducing new tiles that customers can customize based on their specific needs. The charts were segmented into tabs corresponding to different processes. Each warehouse now has its dedicated dashboard, offering customers an overview for informed decision-making.

Additionally, we provide customers with the option to configure and reorder the dashboard widgets. This feature ensures a personalized and customized approach tailored to their preferences.
Conclusion
As the designer behind the global map, I have crafted a pivotal tool that plays an instrumental role in amplifying supply chain visibility. This map offers real-time and comprehensive insights into the intricate movement and status of goods across diverse locations. Engineered with a focus on usability, the map empowers supply chain managers by providing a seamless interface for tracking shipments in real-time and precisely monitoring the exact location of goods at any given moment.
